Are the Guitar hero world tour playstation controllers the same?

I already know that the rock band 2 guitar and drum controllers are the exact same for ps2 and ps3. I need to know the same for guitar hero 4. If I go to the store, I want to be able to buy a playstation guitar hero 4 controller because it is both ps2 and ps3. PLEASE somebody tell me because I need to know.

1Uh If you own a gh3 Guitar You dont have to buy the gh4 guitar. Since the gh3 Guitar work fine with it.
I Think the ps2 and ps3 guitar are the same. But double check in the store
