Acoustic Guitar Players: Why does my new acoustic guitar sound so muted?
I just got a new Ibanez Acoustic guitar for $250 at the Guitar Center. I’ve been playing with my brothers acoustic guitar from Mexico and this guitar sounds much brighter and alive than the Ibanez. My brothers guitar is about 15 years, I would think that its your average kind of guitar.
Do you think I have to wait for the guitar to mature to aquire a better sound, you know like when you buy new speakers and you have to wait about 20 hours to let them break in?
Do you think I should just return the guitar and try another brand? Its a nice looking guitar though. I can even hook it up to an amp and all.

How do you tune an Epiphone Firebird guitar?
i’ve been playing guitar for 5 years now and own several guitars, however, my new Epiphone Firebird comes with Steinberger tuning heads and its driving me insane, i can’t figure them out!!! HELP!!!
Do good guitar players play guitar hero?
I am planning on becoming really good at playing the guitar but i love playing guitar hero too…would that be weird if i was really good at the guitar and played guitar hero still?
How much different is an acoustic guitar from an electric guitar?
What are the differences between playing an acoustic guitar and an electric one? Is one harder to learn/play than the other? What are some good brands for guitars?
How on earth can you be a hero by playing the guitar?
I see this nonsense called Guitar Hero. How can someone be a hero that way? Does he beat the terrorists over the head with his guitar or what? How can he be a hero and save lives with his guitar?
